Bluebell loop trail

Trail description

This short loop walk brings you through a plantation of Norway spruce and a felled area replanted with Norway spruce, Scots pine and Oak. Also present are natural regeneration of holly, ash and sally.
The area contains a thriving population of red squirrel. Evidence of same can be seen from the Norway spruce cones with seeds removed lying on the forest floor. Also present but elusive are pine martens.
