Slieve Felim Way (Glenstal)

Trail description

The Slieve Felim way is a long-distance linear walk that is waymarked by the yellow walking person symbol.  It begins in Murroe village in Co. Limerick and ends in Silvermines village in Co. Tipperary - a distance of 33km.

This section of the Way that is marked from the entrance in Glenstal through to the Newport to Rearcross county road passes though a huge block of forestry in the Slieve Felim Mountains.  The majority of this section is in Co. Limerick, the walker does not enter Co. Tippeary on this leg until they cross over the Clare river in the final 100m.
