Garryhinch Loop begins along the same route as the Barrow walk until one crosses the river. Once across the bridge follow the main road to the left past the mature broadleaf forest on the right and regenerating forest on the left. Birch, ash, spindle, hawthorn and hazel can be seen scattered through the conifers. The walk continues around the outer loop forest road until the forest changes to scattered mature beech, ash and oak with natural regeneration beneath. Follow the road to the right back towards the Barrow, across the bridge, past the old stone barn ruins and back to the car park.
