Flat Rock Loop

Trail description

The Flat Rock loop follows the river down as far as the Clamp Hole waterfall and returns back on itself on the opposite side of the river. The trail starts at the car park and enters a mature stand of Norway spruce. The trail then sticks close to the side of the river and there are many picturesque waterfalls on the way. The exposed sandstone is very evident along the riverside. The trail is through forest conditions so appropriate caution should be taken.
