Slí Com Rua

Trail description

Gets its name from the townland of Coomroe which means the Red Cuam or hollow.  Starting at the upper car park, there is a foot bridge across a rushing stream, then on through pines and spruces to a ford over another stream and up the hill to a viewing point which opens up the whole valley and lake to the east. This is a must for any visitor to Gougane. The trail then leads back by stone steps to the car park.
