Nature Trail
The trail starts and finishes at Sarah’s Bridge, a short walk from the car park. The trail travels along the southern bank of the river before crossing at the Rabbit Bridge and returning along the northern bank to close back at Sarah’s Bridge. Sixteen wooden posts numbered from 1 to 16, marking recommended stops of interest, have been placed along the trail. A leaflet is available with information about natural features connected with each of the stops. This trail is particularly aimed at school children as it attempts to illustrate the balance of nature within the forest, with particular reference to the life of trees.
